I never wanted anybody to touch me, even when I was in my teens - yeck! Personal space invaded, straight away the bars go up. Since I have an extremely acute sense of smell, I also didn't like the thick musty odours of most teens of my acquaintance.
You wouldn't have liked me, then. I wasn't expecting to stink so heavily in my teens, but I did. Thank you genetics.
The way my parents explained hygeine to me made it difficult to learn in my teens, and learning it and getting embarrassed about it in front of friends, was inevitable.
This was a learning experience I needed, though. It taught me how to apply hygeine without meddlesome, overprotective parents.
(Yes, YOU mom!)
Also, I would have asked you stupid, geeky stuff about what you want out of a guy :p
Especially one unfortunate boy who always used to wear nylon shirts to school...
The wonder is that I ever had a child with that sort of aversion to human scent.
