I don't hit my child. Her behaviour is excellent. I don't follow the logic of those that think hitting a child somehow makes them behave better. It's disrespectful and how are you supposed to teach a child that they shouldn't hit people if you hit the child? I've seen plenty young delinquents who are no stranger to a slap, and as for those that advocate bringing back the belt etc. in schools... I would merrily systematically break the bones of anyone raising their hand to my child. See how they like dealing with the fear and pain.
