Are there any anime fans on the forum?

I love lots of different anime... I am a fan of the work of Miyazaki in all its forms, one of my favourites is Princess Mononoke. It's just so rich and creative... really inspiring to me. I always feel like writing or drawing after watching a Miyazaki film.

As for series... Death Note, Code Geass, Serial Experiments Lain, Naruto Uzumaki, Wolf's Rain... aw I can't pick one. Do you have a favourite? Why do you like your favourite anime more than the others?

I like anime, although I can't list all my favorites. As you can tell I am a fan of Code Geass and the guy known as Orange.

Hm... I think there was a post about this once before. Anyways, I am a big Vampire Hunter D fan. !

I have to admit, I haven't seen Vampire Hunter D yet. I will add it to my list.

I love anime, but I don't have a huge knowledge of them. I recently finished watching full metal alchemist brotherhood, it was awesome.

A quick list of anime that I love (and remember now): Dragonball and Dragonball Z, Death Note, Soul Eater (apart from that stupid way of ending the anime), Naruto (I only read the manga since about two years ago), FMA:brotherhood, Mahojin Guru Guru (did not fail as Soul Eater in ending the anime), Gurren Lagann.

... and that I watched recently (but do not love): Angel Beats, Fractale (when you want a short series, those ones are decent) and Toaru Majutsu no Index (I would like it to be shorter, right now it seems like it will last too long to be worth watching). Plus a hell lot of other anime that I did not like past episode 3 or 4.

Definitely One Piece. Not the edited version that aired on Cartoon Network. Blegh. I watch the TV-14 version in Japanese with English subtitles.

do you like the funimation version at all thats not edited except for openings and closings. and yea i agree that the 4kids version is horrible. edited: btw i also Bleach
