Got into a fight for no reason

I was at Trivia the other day I play twice a week with friends I also help organize the Wed night Trivia and host it at times.  Well anyway afterwords I was outside on the phone and some guy I don't even know came up to me and got right in my face.  He was saying I have a staring problem and his girlfriend kept saying kick his *** Kenneth to him.  I kept saying I had no issue and please leave me alone.  Well at that point he slapped me full force in the face cutting my face open.  I have scratches on my face now I am putting a pic of my face below.  So then I took him down with a head lock and then beat him unconscious 2 guys I didn't even know pulled me off and threw me in their car and said we have to get you out of here and drove me home.  My boss down there called me the next day the guy was fine minor concussion and he is now barred from the bar.  I am in no trouble myself.

I just hate that people always pick on the guy that looks or seems a little different.  I was the shortest person there I am only 5'6 and I am somewhat chubby but mostly muscle which is hard to tell.  He was about 6'2  but really skinny with lots of tattoos. If I was staring I didn't mean it.  Ugh I hate when crap like this happens and people try to bully me.

RE: Got into a fight for no reason

Was he drunk? Drunks get stupidly belligerent sometimes, and some of them have this idea that "staring" = a challenge to fight them. I'll bet he has learned a lesson about starting fights with strangers, but then again some people never learn!

He was very drunk.  I don't know why some people get so stupid when they drink.  I like to drink sometimes and I act the same drunk or sober.  Some people just shouldn't drink at all.

RE: Got into a fight for no reason

People who don't know me have always tried to start fights with me because I seem easy to bully being short and seemingly fat and I act somewhat odd.  I hate fighting but I learned as a teenager that sometimes its the only way to go that's why it was my area of interest from age 14 to 16.

You seem to have made a good account of yourself; Perhaps he won't be so hasty in picking fights in the future.

This *** should not get away with what he did.  Please garner the energy to seek out justice.  Were the police involved/a police report filed?

If you can, start looking for a good lawyer.  I would hope you can file both criminal and civil charges against this savage.  So your eyes may have wandered?  Big deal, huh!  I think that animal just wanted to impress his girlfriend so she'd admire him for being tough.

Again, my blood is boiling reading this story.  (If you can)  SUE!  SUE! SUE!  Even after you recover physically, the psychological trauma is going to haunt you throughout your life.

I agree. Let it be over. The word will get out that you are not to be messed with.

As far as I know no cops came.  However as much as I would like to despite the scratches on my face the fact remains I left him lying in a pool of blood in the past other similar incidents have happened with me getting the short end of the stick in the legal department. May just be best to let it go.  As for psychological trauma I am good I am use to this sort or thing after 33 years on the earth.  High School and Middle School did the real damage.

Glad you managed to dish some pain out to that ratbastard. I HATE those moments. I very rarely ever am the one to start a fight,if I do, it i because the person started on comitted some truly grivous wrongdoing of the sort of nature that can't be ignored. Otherwise I prefer to keep my self to myself, and get along wiith living life. Too much hassle and stress dealing with obnoxious little puks like this

RE: Got into a fight for no reason

Yes i have had similar situations mate and i don't know what to suggest. I know the righteous indignation and the lack of fairness.
One crazy guy who similarly tried that *** on with me (different reasons and different environment We were in student accommodation - mature aged and he went nuts with he and me around).
The strange thing is the afterwards. I felt polarised views. Guilt and indignation. I also had to face the fact that this guy would hide from me every time i was around after that and moved out quickly. It would not have been an issue if he had of just not picked on me in the first place.
I did not know how to cope with the aftermath nor understand or appreciate what I was supposed to feel or react like.
I beat *** out of him sure but it WAS because of his actions an he was a big guy and i hurt him but mostly just scared *** out of him.
i felt like i was being made the bad guy. Did not and still do not understand.

I meant this as a way to say what you are feeling is probably similar and completely understandable to my view.

RE: Got into a fight for no reason

Good job.

Dont go to the police. You would get *** again. THe law that permit you to defend yourself is generally applied as such. You are allowed to use force, as long as it's not escalation. If someone slap you, you dont have the right to beat them senseless. you only have the right to make it stop. You might have went a little overboard.

But i'm not judging. Last time i got into a fight, some douche jump me in the back. Didn't know the guy. I broke my hand on his skull. But when i left he was crying on the ground and it took him a long time to stand up. I even kicked him in the face.

I agree that this guy should be brought to justice for what he did.  In my opinion, he really ought to spend some time in jail for it, both to punish him and to demonstrate to others who might consider doing the same that they're not going to get away with it.

RE: Got into a fight for no reason

My advice is don't bother with the cops. They almost always don't give a crap about the right and wrong. In the cases where both parties did something they may have to defend themselves from from the pigs, they will often go full force towards screwing over both parties, or doing so to the easier party to prosecute and fill their bust figure quotas with, I.E not the one who is a vicious thug that will be experienced as to how to lawyer up and manipulate the system to walk out laughing, and instead bust the guy who just got assaulted and instead of getting beaten half dead, left the thug in question in a whimpering, bloodied heap on the floor.

If you just had gotten stabbed, and never even seen it coming, or some such incident, or got robbed without raising a hand to defend yourself, or maybe dropped a guy out cold when you just had to escape from a huge pack of vermin out to beat you to a pulp, then perhaps, from the point of view of not getting questioned or attempted prosecution (while you may well have been in a case where there is no damn WAY you would be convicted in front of a court, doesn't stop the filth from trying) but has no bearing on weather you would set off a war with the scum responsible who you got nicked.

Save the cops for extreme circumstances, if you ask me, they are as dangerous to get involved with as the scum themselves, often as not.

It adds the danger of being marked as a snitch also. Which would truly enrage the guy, and most likely get him to get his boys after you.

Most thugs of that nature are real brain donors, complete stupid fuckwits, that will invent a 'cause' just to get in a fight, it doesn't matter what it is, that kind of scum, if you were turned the other way round, walking the opposite way, get your attention, then say something to the effect of 'what the f**k are you looking at, dick, time to get smashed in', just for a putative cause to start a fight. They go out looking for it.

Stupid as that is, and as big a pack of cretinous thugs as their chavscum ilk are, they can usually mentally process, just about 'I tried battering XYZ person, and found he was a whole lot harder, lets not do it again or next time he might actually beat me to death, or pull a knife'

I.e something along the lines of 'me nasty mean thug...but me leavie other guy around, he gorilla, he make bad nasty scumbag hurt lot me not like hurt, hurt painful and painful bad'

Not always the case, some will get vengeful and come looking, but when you get attacked by mindless trash like that, there is sometimes no other choice than to beat the devil from the tosser or tossers trying it on, unless you want that happening to you instead.

Kevout-careful what you advise, very careful. Some cases it might be the right thing to do, but it is also very dangerous to get involved in the legal side of things-if the case fails, or succeeds without the trash facing a jail term and being removed from the ability to strike back, it can leave you having to deal with an army of his friends, with him leading it, baying for your blood, after getting merely fined, put on community service, or wrongly getting away with it entirely.

Better to flatten the ***, or just leg it...depends entirely on the situation which is the better idea, and its often impossible to tell, before you do either, sometimes getting away, from somebody who doesn't know who you are, and just jumps a random person, just running for it, is the best thing, when the thug knows who you are or where you might be in future, or is someone in a position somewhere, such as college, etc where you would have to see them on a regular basis, sometimes the only way to stop a future load of aggro, is to put the fear of god into him, by leaving him a battered, torn up mess, and running may mark you as a coward/easy soft target, but other times, beating the scum responsible senseless will just set them off and start them coming after you longterm.

Always a bad situation, and very likely, impossible to know which of those courses of action is the correct one, that will bring less or no trouble, if possible, in the long term.

But if you have to, don't hesitate to act, and don't try to fight 'honorably', thugs don't play be the rules, and neither should you. Those who hesitate, and try to not use 'dirty' tactics, are the ones who thus find themselves lacking the capacity to strike a crippling blow that will incapacitate instantaneously, and not just make the aggressor more angry and determined.

If you have to fight, make it quick, make it brutal, and make it effective, go for a pressure point, strike hard to the family jewels, kick a knee joint and snap it, followed by a headbutt to the nose, punch in the throat, etc, if you leave the aggressor up and standing, it just gets them angry. Losing that sudden element of surprise, and an instantly incapacitating reprise blow, then you are at a major disadvantage in that sort of situation.

Hit hard, injure/incapacitate, make it count, make it something that will, no matter how hard the attacker is, remove their ability to act further, follow it up while they are down, with something equally effective then run. Don't hang around, just get away, and be glad the other bugger got hurt and not you. There is no guilt attatched to defending yourself, or another from being brutalised, it is simply survival, or defending somebody who would otherwise be the one to end up hurt or killed.

I've been in more than one such situation, and I have been on both resulting ends, I've got knocked senseless, and the pigs did nothing, just refused to act, even after the same scum came after me repeatedly.

On the other end of the scale, I once had two thugs try jumping me, no reason, I was walking to buy some snacks, tobacco, general purpose commodities from a shop, and was attacked by two of them. On immediately found themselves on the end of a flying kick hitting them right in the face, completely flattened the guy, the other thought better of trying it on and left, the other got up after some time and ran, I myself immediately left the area, after getting my stuff (I wouldn't have bothered, and would have gone somewhere else, if not for the fact that I was yards away from the shop, to avoid the possibility of the guy who ran for it first, coming back with a horde of angry chavscum friends)

And again, I've stabbed a guy with a metal bar before, after a first encounter where he just came up and smashed my face in, twice, minutes after the other, then seen him again, got knocked the f uck out, got the bacon to try and deal with it, both times not managed to do a thing about it, the guy in question is a serious, dangerous hard case, pretty sure he has been locked up now, don't know if he is out, and still had to fight the guy again, the next time I bumped into him.

I'm hoping I don't see the nasty little creature again, or that he either has been, or gets locked up for a long time, he is a dangerous guy, very much so, and if I do run into him...chances are, my choices will be either be beaten the shite out of, or maybe stabbed-or get in there, if I can manage it, so fast and hard that I can manage to cripple him permanently.
