Weird. In this country, marshmallows tend to come in bite sized cylinders, not bars.

According to historical myth, Nero converted to Judaism before the end of his reign.

And yeah... he had about the same tolerance of pre-biblical Christian ideals as I do.

Kindness towards strangers. "Good will towards men". "Turn the other cheek".
Never loan someone money (usury); give it to them of your own free will. No suicide, ever -not even to gain 'premature' entrance to heaven/hell. The bible represents the literal word of god (based on contemptuous interpretation by fools.)

Lots and lots of other pre-Paulian stupid. Only Paul/Saul made it even dumber.

It reeks quite a bit of "charity rendered profane".

Is that chocolate on pork?

It looks disgusting.

marshmallow, i think

It's a marshmallow (roasted over a fire) and a chocolate bar, sandwiched between two graham crackers. They're actually pretty tasty, and it's usually dark when you eat them, so it doesn't matter as much how they look.

Thanks for the explanation of THE THING in the picture.  I thought at first it was a piece of chicken breast fillet with barbecue sauce, sandwiched, for no apparent reason, between two Weetbix!

Nice to know that instead, it is a marshmellow concoction, sandwiched, for no apparent reason, between two biscuits.

RE: bonfire- dumbest idea ever but ok

Here in Australia we've got a confection known as a Wagon Wheel, which is similar.  The biscuit is spread with plum jam, the whole is dipped in chocolate.  Extremely sweet and gooey and not really to my taste, since it's way too rich.

RE: bonfire- dumbest idea ever but ok

we have moon pies........Tongue

A moon pie or MoonPie is a pastry which consists of two round graham cracker cookies, with marshmallow filling in the center, dipped in chocolate, banana, or coconut coatings. The traditional pie is about four inches (100 mm) in diameter. A smaller version exists (mini MoonPie) that is about half the size, and a Double-Decker MoonPie of the traditional diameter features a third cookie and attendant layer of marshmallow. The four main flavors are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and banana. Double Decker MoonPies also come in lemon and orange; MoonPie Crunch comes only in peanut butter or mint.

RE: bonfire- dumbest idea ever but ok

That link to S'mores was a hoot!  And it explains something that puzzled me about skyblue's comment on "graham".  I had no idea what that could be until I watched the clip: graham is a type of biscuit, right?  Here in Australia it's just a male name.  So I've learned something new today!

Seriously though, it's no wonder there's an obesity problem in the developed world, with food like we've been describing!

I indulge in sweets and carbs on the weekend.......during the week I am a straight up carnivore.

I weigh in at about 140 lbs, so a few sweets doesnt hurt
