My sister, who works in human resources, emailed me this article about Asperger's syndrome in the workplace.  It certainly seems to show us in a pretty positive light and is a nice change from some of the other stuff out there that people tend to hear about us.

Very nice article.  Thanks, Shoneh!   This article points out some of the reasons we can be excellent in some important jobs, and of great value to employers.  These traits are what helped me to be exceptionally good at internet fraud detection, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing, among other vital duties, in my job as Chief Investigator and Compliance Officer for an Internet retailer.

One of the things they didn't mention is taking things very literally. I know that isn't always an advantage, but when you are gathering and documenting requirements for IT projects and interpreting documents written by others, it really pays to not leave things open to interpretation, especially when $100M projects are at stake.
