RE: Is this the real life?
As the player's breath warms the fipple the tone clears.
It is time to consider how Domenico Scarlatti
condensed so much music into so few bars
with never a crabbed turn or congested cadence,
never a boast or a see-here; and stars and lakes
echo him and the copse drums out his measure,
snow peaks are lifted up in moonlight and twilight
and the sun rises on an acknowledged land.
Basil Bunting, Briggflatts

If the sun don't come you get a tan from standing in the English rain...
It is important to be yourself, but, more important to be yourself proudly.

Just clicked this thread for the first time...
just sang the song... REALLY loud...
LOVED the guitar solo (in my head of course)
Also did the headbanging..
very very happy
(was slightly annoyed by the intrusions...LOL)
I don't think I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts is a part of the beatles song is it?
So what song now?

RE: Is this the real life?
Spring was never waiting for us till
it ran one step ahead
as we followed in the dance.
Between the parted pages
we were pressed,
in love's hot, fevered iron
like a striped pair of pants.
