My favorite quotes from movies

Pulp Fiction: Ezekiel quote.." Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you !!!!"

hans gruber: Mr. Mystery Guest? Are you still there?
John McClane: Yeah, I'm still here. Unless you wanna open the front door for me.
Hans Gruber: Uh, no, I'm afraid not. But, you have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he's John Wayne? Rambo? Marshal Dillon?
John McClane: Was always kinda partial to Roy Rogers actually. I really like those sequined shirts.
Hans Gruber: Do you really think you have a chance against us, Mr. Cowboy?
John McClane: Yippee-ki-yay, mofo. [/br]
with a shoot out with hans
Karl, schieß dem Fenster

Hans Gruber: Karl, schieß dem Fenster.
[Karl gives Hans a puzzled look. Exasperated, Hans repeats it in English]
Hans Gruber: SHOOT the GLASS! [/br]
If you have some then post em here[/b]

From Monty Python's The Life of Brian:

Quote:
All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

There's been an incident at the Pass!
There's always incidents at passes. You've only got to make a pass for there to be trouble!
- Carry On Up the Khyber

As the player's breath warms the fipple the tone clears.
It is time to consider how Domenico Scarlatti
condensed so much music into so few bars
with never a crabbed turn or congested cadence,
never a boast or a see-here; and stars and lakes
echo him and the copse drums out his measure,
snow peaks are lifted up in moonlight and twilight
and the sun rises on an acknowledged land.

Aristotle was not Belgian, the central message of Buddhism is not "every man for himself" and the London Underground is not a political movement!

RE: My favorite quotes from movies

From Independence day. When the pilots go in on the 1st attack [the shields are up and all of them die, except for Will Smith's character]. When he is fired upon his response is "Don't you fire that green sh** at me!" Later on when he is dragging the unconscious alien through the desert, he gets really peeved off at it and stuff. My favorite quote from that scene is "I could have been at a barbeque!" before he kicks the alien in rage.

Aliens- "Get away from her you bit**!" and afterwards the fight Bishop says "Not bad for a human."

League of Extradionary Gentlemen- Sawer and Alan have a conversation about shooting. During it Sawer says "I already know how" Alan's response being "Yes, very American you shoot enough bullets and hope that they hit the target"

2012- "Wow that is one huge plane." "It's Russian."

Terminator 2- Not asta la vista but "I need a vacation"

Quantum of Solace- "I don't think that the dead care about vengeance."

Harry Potter 7 part 2- "Face it Hermioney, we plan something, we get there all hell breaks loose." And "Not my daughter you bit**!" And who could forget "I dosen't matter the number of wands but the quality of their users." "Who said that?" "I did." Well you can't forget it if you haven't seen the film or read the book yet.

RE: My favorite quotes from movies

Dilios 300 - Just there the barbarians huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers, knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks!

King Leonidas - You there, Ephialtes. May you live forever.

Messenger - What makes this woman think she can speak among men?
Queen Gorgo - Because only Spartan women give birth to real men.

Xerxes - But I am a generous god. I can make you rich beyond all measure. I will make you warlord of all Greece. You will carry my battle standard to the heart of Europa. Your Athenian rivals will kneel at your feet if you will but kneel at mine.
King Leonidas - You are generous as you are divine, O king of kings. Such an offer only a madman would refuse. But the, uh, the idea of kneeling, it's- You see, slaughtering all those men of yours has, uh, well it's left a nasty cramp in my leg, so kneeling will be hard for me.

Xerxes - You Greeks take pride in your logic. I suggest you employ it. Consider the beautiful land you so vigorously defend. Picture it reduced to ash at my whim! Consider the fate of your women!
Spartan King Leonidas - Clearly you don't know our women! I might as well have marched them up here, judging by what I've seen.
