Do fictional characters count?

Even the Geth have a sense of humor we as humans can understand...Well, Legion. Anyway, not the point, moving on.

So, yes. As I may have said before, my strongest relationship ((although I've only really had two and *1 tenth)) was with a fictional character.

*The one tenth was a "prank date" in which I was stood up*

Of course, that fictional character is Doctor Liara T'Soni. Who I'm actually older than, instead of the other way around when you think about it considering that she was born in 2077...

The relationship had it's flaws, like when I ((or rather Shepherd)) died during a Collector attack, only to be brought back two years later by Cerberus...

Still, a better relationship than I ever had with the Succubus who will remain anoymo...

Anyway, yes. That is the point I am trying to make, my in-game relationship with Liara has been stronger than any other relationship in my sixteen years and nine/ten months on this spec of life in the universe that we call Earth...

The advantage is that I can go back, time travel if you put it that way and re-live the whole thing.

That's the beauty of fiction, people! That is the beauty of gaming!

Non Mass Effect fan: So, how many relationships have you had?

Me: **counts** One, two, three, four, five. Two of which I don't count.

Non Mass Effect fan: Why not?

Me: One was a stood-up date, the other, well I'd rather not get into it. Let's just say four months of hell.

Non Mass Effect fan: What about the three others?

Me: Well, two of which were with the same person. I was different on both occasions though.

Non Mass Effect fan: How?

Me: I was a different Commander Shepherd.

Non Mass Effect fan: Commander Shepherd? **thinks** No, in-game relationships don't count you saddo!! They don't matter!! Liara isn't real!!
