Anyone familiar with iMovie?

What I'm trying to do is make a video using clips from the Autism Everyday vid, but I cant seem to be able to add it to iMovie, therefore, I can't edit it.  It's a quicktime video, so I don't know why it wont play.

RE: Anyone familiar with iMovie?

EDIT: Nevermind, I got that working, but how do you you separate the audio from the video.

For the record, I'm trying to do something like this;

*GUSHES*I love iMovie!!!  I love making slideshows and the like!Big Grin*End*
My only help is if the small icon on the left-hand side is set to image of the clock, the audio is displayed separately from the picture.  When it is set to the film shot it is only visual being displayed.
*Note*I am using '06 if it makes a difference*End Note*

iMovie is lame. Final Cut is the way to go.

Imovie its easy basically there is a mic option near the clips cuts. Click that and it will let you voice over the clips you have selected
