Who saw the new Hoarders last night?
I find it hard to believe one of those crazies lives no more than a few blocks away, let alone the worst one I've ever seen.
Anyone else think I should wait for that chick over at the Goodwill she loves to shop at so I can beat her senseless for neglecting those cats so badly???

God bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under a loaded gun, and it can't be outfought, it can't be outdone, it can't be outmatched, it can't be outrun.

let the cats take care of it themselves
I'm not anti-social; I'm just not user friendly

RE: Who saw the new Hoarders last night?
My mom said I'd be a hoarder when I grow up, when looking at the box in my closet, but that box had been in our house even as we moved for a while and it stuffed animals in stuff in there that mom actually put in there or something. I know for sure that was accepted though. There was school stuff on top of it if she meant that and I threw that away because I realized I didn't need it...
She'd be more justified if she said that before when I was smaller and she had to clean our room ( i used to share a room) with a garbage bag and we weren't allowed in because if we were I'd take something out...had a hard time throwing stuff away back then and then my mother just started doing it. It didnt completely fill up our whole room, it was hidden mostly.
I always wonder why
When you look down into my eyes
My feeling swiftly changed between happiness and sorrow
And tears begin to fall
I’m not you and you are not me
But your pain becomes my pain
When you are sad, I’m the one who foolish cry
When you are wounded, my heart is hurt more

Don't beat her...she's got an issue. You should just throw away all of her extra things and sure she will probably be sad or something but she might even get over it and realize how awesomely organized her house is and she will be busy not-neglecting the cats and the hoarding will go away eventually after being sealed from tht for a while..this might be a nice solution kinda like how when those people send their eating disorder kids away to that...whatever, they make them eat (healthy though) and they cant throw it up. Maybe sooner or later the ED will just go away after being forced like that, lol.

Plain and simple, something is missing that stuff can't replace. Everyone tries to fill the void with something, and sometimes that something takes over the house
