solitude

Solitude = peace and happyness

People = nothing but problems

Slipknot has it right about people (cant repeat it here)

The best place I have ever been is the beverage reef.
No people for at least 500 miles!

Fish and sea life that is magical!

RE: solitude

You raise a question that interests me: how much of the aspie desire for solitude is fear, running away from the real world? Is everyone who wants to be alone lying to themselves?

RE: solitude

Slipknot are a mainstream and pretentious band whose music gets falsely classified as "heavy metal" or "death metal". What kind of a metal band has 10 members, anyways? One that can't even play their insipid songs live without a DJ! Rolleyes Slipknot does NOT appeal to those who seek isolation, only those who want to be "cool" and part of the herd mentality. I suggest the epic doom metal band, Candlemass. The first song (Solitude) off of their first album (Epicus Doomicus Metallicus) really speaks about solitary with real emotions in a mature and realistic way, not this juvenile "*expletive* everyone and *expletive* this world" crap which is clearly written by someone who can't write music to save his life!

RE: solitude

I have another question..... how is it possible to not be so two-faced on a subject, such as too much drama, or being in a program like TILSOH or being a part of something that scares the living daylights out of you. I mean I'm sick of being two-faced around some of the TILSOH students and staff. I'm sick of it.

Didn't Varg Vikernes burn down churches and kill his own bandmates? It's not like he's that great of a songwriter to begin with. Rolleyes

Cool  RE: solitude

Well the real world has 5 murders E of me. And 4 just W of me.
So run away I will when I can.

And police-people harrasment all the time.

I really dont follow the new music guys, I just happened to
see this "new" band. (new to me-and I have not even LOOKED at music in last 10years)

Thanks for the other bands, when in a bad mood, I might
listen to them.

Pink Floyd, kitaro, tangerine dream are what I listen too.
