Someone propably pointed it out but atheism is not a religion.
But i answer it anyway, shocking and surprising is in't?
I love it when Matt dillahunty said: "we are all atheist, i'm just atheist for one more god then any theist."

Also, the most popular vote is atheist. Christian as so many different kind of them, if it was separated between the different denomination, they would probably be equal to the number of buddhist.

I've also heard it put that atheism is a religion in the same way that baldness is a hair color.

Atheism is a religion like abstinence is a sex position.
Atheism is a religion like NOT collecting stamps is a hobby.

other is Mennonite or other crazy crap......

To me it all sounds like some crazy crap. Except for Taoist and certain Hindu denominations that allow for catering to the individual
