Help please I am an aspie and the guy who asked me out is one also. We have been friends since October and it is the 1st week of June.  I like him a lot. I however, as previously mentioned, have no idea about what to do on the date as we have only hung out as friends.  HELP.(I have also never been on any kind of date before)

I agree- make it a team decision and you will both relax more. Think of it as an adventure more than a date?

dating really isn't so different from hanging out as friends. it's just more private is all. maybe you'll go somewhere a bit nicer than you normally would. but it doesn't have to be an awkward thing.

just have fun with him, your first date is a special ocasion not a bad one - just go with the flow!

The main difference between a "date" and going somewhere as "just friends" is that on a date there will only be the two of you.

You used to hang out as just friends, just do the same things as before but without anyone else around.

I saw ironman 2 (and except for one scene that went on a little long at the car race -  close your eyes for 30 seconds at the end of that and you'll be okay) it was really VERY good.

Holy monkey. When I was 14 I was too terrified to have a boyfriend. Actually at age 30 I still am....

keep in mind your date is as terified as you are, be kind, be patient and keep being friends just a little closer.

Please (in my opinion) disregard the advice that anyone is "terrified". If you think you are terrified... - well how can you have any fun?

I don't think anyone is terrified... becoming friends or attempting to be close friends is exciting not terrifying.  It can be an adventure -- and MANY/most times the adventure is quite mundane... You may see that it is just EXACTLY the same as being with any other person.

ouch, double dates are double awkward. Your friends will see every gaffe you make, so it has to be perfect.

1.He should have said where he was taking you when he asked you out
2. You should probably not date a man who cannot do 1
3. If you don't do 2 you should ask him where you are going
4. You should where something amazing, but appropriate-get your girlfriends together for an emergency shopping trip!
