RE: Post something positive about yourself.
Another positive: I'm one of the few who can sing in tune at work. I know tunefulness is not often listed as an aspie trait, but if I've heard the song sung once before, or even read the sheet music, I can sing it note-perfect from then on. Maybe it's an extension of our general ability at mimicing. All I know is, "Kook-a-kook-a-burra" is my forte, and I have encores requested by my kids for "Smelly Man" or "On Top of Spaghetti, All Covered With Cheese". A dab hand at "Miss Polly Had a Dolly" as well, although most children today are puzzled by the concept of the doctor coming to the house, rather than the sick person going to the doctor. How times have changed!

Kook-a-kook-a-burra laugh? is that the song - and Miss Polly had a dolly.
I used to sing these song's for my children.
Nice songs to sing.
I worked at a dementia unit last week - I love singing to the patients.
It is a great form of diversion.

You may be thinking of "Kookaburra sits in an old gum tree... "etc.
Kook-kook-a -burra is a different one again, where you mimic the sound of the kookaburra's call while you sing the song: it's from Playschool originally, but I've only heard it a couple of times. But it's now a favourite in my preschool! I'll be walking around the playground with like a comet's tail of two or three classes, all of them making the kookaburra's call while I sing the verses!
"Kook-a-kooka-burra, cack-a-cack-cackling
In the coo-coo-coolabah tree!
Kook-a-kooka-burra, ca-ca-can you tell me
why you cack-a-cack-cackle
coo-coo-coo-constantly?
etc. ad infitum..."
And when it's finally finished there's usually a chorus of four and five year olds saying: "More, please Ali? More?"
It's very flattering, but hard on the voice!

While I am still looking for work, I am in a career I really enjoy.
Also, I am a very proactive guy.

I'm told I'm sexy...when I am not being a total psycho that is.
