I don't know your story, Ana, but I take it that Stan knows you're an Aspie.  Something my mum said to me last year a few days after I was diagnosed has stuck in my mind:  "Be careful of whom you tell you have AS.  Other people would rather dismiss you, your actions, and your AS, than look at their own behaviour as being at fault."

In my case, my mother is the one to whom that comment refers.
