Anti-racism poem (could apply to aspies as well)
Black is Black.
White is White.
Life is always
A racial fight.
“Don’t date her.”
“Don’t Marry Him.”
“He doesn’t match
The color of your skin.”
Why does it matter?
Why do we care?
Would you see a difference
If the skin wasn’t there?
They may use a language
We do not speak
They may have beliefs
We find unique.
But deep down inside
Beneath that thin shell,
You may just find someone
You know very well.
Friends come in all sizes, colors, and shapes,
And you might miss a lot
If you see only a face.
Each culture has something
Unique we can learn
To make our lives better,
Our souls much more pure.
So cast off your prejudice
Replace hate with love
And look on each person
As does your Father above.

Excellent poem... It really speaks the truth about racism. Hope to see more like this 
It maybe a burden at times but... I'm proud to be an Aspie because it is a smybol of who I am and wouldn't trade my AS for anything.

Racism just seems to be a part of me, I just can't accept several races in most cases, though I believe that EVERY SINGLE RACE has It's advantages.

Racism just seems to be a part of me, I just can't accept several races in most cases, though I believe that EVERY SINGLE RACE has It's advantages.

When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple with a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves and satin candles, and say we've no money for butter.I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired and gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells and run my stick along the public railings and make up for the sobriety of my youth.I shall go out in my slippers in the rain and pick the flowers in other people's gardens. And learn to spit...

ok if i were you i'd stop now before someone gets offended. and rightly offended at that. not something i often say. and do you think people from minority ethnic backgrounds in their locations really want someone pointing out how very different they are (which they aren't)? oh and do these "differences" even matter at all, whether they exist or not?
