My name is Daragon but Darry or Derek works too. I am a 16 year old Aspergian boy. I am completely obsessed with reading and writing. The only poetry I put up here was horrible but it was the only poetry I could find that pertained to Asperger's. Most of my poetry is MUCH better. I love reading and writing more than I love socializing but I socialize too because it can be sort of fun if it is with the right people. I read all sort of things but generally I go for horror or fantasy. Currently I am on an anthology of Lovecraft's stories and Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith for pleasure reading and after that comes Das Kapital or Thus Spoke Zarathustra. I am currently writing a strange dark fantasy story, and after I'm finished I'm going to work on a steampunk mystery I have been wanting to do for a while.

It's hard to get me to talk about things other than literature and writing but I am capable of doing it. I know a ton of information about a variety of things from my reading but I sometimes say I have a reserved memory. By that I mean my memory is reserved for things that are useless. Thus, I can tell you a lot about serial killers, vampire mythology, and various other random things but I cannot remember my own phone number.

I love new ideas but I am nervous about new places. I try to get new perspectives on things but it's often hard to get the perspective of conservatives because most conservative pundits use a ton of logical fallacies. Liberal pundits can be pretty bad but listening to Rush Limbaugh is just unbearable because nearly all of his points are logical fallacies. Logical fallacies really bother me so it can be hard to listen to political debates because they use so many. I currently am considered very liberal by most. I wish to work with the neurodiversity movement because I have been a victim of discrimination on the basis of Asperger's. Anyway, this is me.
