If you could save one tech company from going under....
Which one would it be?
I'd personally have to say Commodore - I'd love to see what Workbench (AmigaOS) would have become on proper x86 (and eventually x86-64) PCs.

Probably Intelevision, but just because the developers are so totally awesome.
I'd love to get my hands on an Odyssey 2 again, though.

If Microsoft was going under, I would save them. But... they doing well kind of. #_#;
Anyways... I would save Packard Bell, and don't ask why. >_<;
Also I would save Sega's console days if given the chance. ^_^;

I don't know that much about computer companies but if one was going under I would save the little guy's company.

Bethesda, assuming if it would actually go under.
I plan on working there one day.

It's a little off topic, but I still have the Timex Sinclair computer my husband used years ago. I think he had to connect it to the TV set. It was about the size of a hardback book and maybe an inch to an inch and a half thick. Since this was from about 1984 I imagine it doesn't have as much memory as today's cell phones. It's probably most useful as a paperweight.

The tech company I would save is my 8 fingers and 2 thumbs. I use them at some point each day for counting something or another (really.)

Don't laugh, Amstrad, I really enjoyed my 128K COLOUR Amstrad computer. I had to pay for it under hirepurchase as I was just out of school. Although I am sure Sir Alan Sugar isn't going to go broke any time soon. LOL

For purely selfish reasons, Kesmai and it's game service, Gamestorm.
10 hours of work as a GM per week got me free AOL (meh), unlimited gameplay (yay), a VIP pass every year to GenCon including free dinner and drinks (top shelf stuff).
The tech company i would most like to see fail is EA, for related reasons.

I'm quite the opposite - if I could make one company go under, it'd be MS.

One of these?

That one is from my own collection.

EA seems to be losing money.
