Along the lines of District 9...

Like Christopher Johnson's blog, MNU spreads lies, we could make a blog of "Autism Speaks spreads lies" and make parallels to the MNU against autism speaks.

"Have you have watched District 9 and gasped at MNU's actions?  Then why do you approve of Autism Speaks?"

We could put that question on there.  Any support is good for the idea.

Yes, I do like Sun Tzu.  Here are quotes to help our cause.

No....No...NO

When you draw comparisons between fantasy organisations and real ones you can expect to be written off as a lunatic.

It's just like comparing Autism Speaks to Fascism..... no one takes it seriously, admittedly because it was overused but also because it's a bit too overdramatic.

Gareth, I rather think it's time to remove this.  I mean, honestly...

Shamshir, I understand your point.  There is a direct comparison between our position and that of the "prawns."  I noted that while I was watching the movie.  The movie had a dark realism to it that I liked.  Scientifically, the notion that aliens could breathe our air is fallacious.  However, as a movie, it worked because of the parallels one could draw.

Even so, I do not believe that it is entirely fair to draw such a comparison with Autism Speaks.  Their purpose is not segregation.  Their purpose appears to be assimilation.  I disagree with assimilation, and therefore I disagree with Autism Speaks.  I also take issue with their policies of censorship.  However, hypebole and exxageration will get us nowhere.

However, if we would continue the fight and effectively shut down the Judge Rotenberg Center, which is truly and evil organization, then it would send a message of power.  Power is something that organizations respect.  They will see the might of our community, and seek partnership.  At that point, adults on the spectrum will be able to present an agenda that will at least have to be dealt with.

Power perceived is power achieved.

"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." (Albert Einstein)
