on the home page there are ten latest threads there is room for at least twice this amount
at present a thread can to quikly be religated to obscureity before it has even had a chance
i realise that it is in everyones to let some threads die but these can be killed by mods

That's why we have the "View New Posts" option...that lists every thread that has been posted in since the viewer was last logged in, not just the newest 10. Some days I log in to find a "New Posts" list that goes on for two pages!

I think that as it is-- the threads disappear after 1 day (based on Uk time I think) so I log in and see at most 1 1/2 pages.

It shows me from 2:45 yesterday to 2:25 today....

People who post at opposite times are like 2 ships passing in the night...

One day does not seem like much...

Seems like an eternity to me.  So far this week reading this forum is about all I do after getting home before I try to sleep.

Seems like activity here has been a bit low lately, though.  It only takes a few minutes to read every single new post.

Yes, I posted at night last night and came on tonite and the post was already gone ... not active.

Busy time of year I suppose.
