No. That is what is so wrong about the whole idea that it is a woman's 'choice'.

Even where the law provides that the medical professionals won't be prosecuted for killing a woman's unborn baby with her consent, and nor will she for consenting, if she induces her own abortion she is breaking the law.

I agree with you Tigger!  Its the woman's choice it should not include the church nor state!  But its wrong to abort a baby because its not "perfect" no person is.

I did not say I thought that it is (or should be) the woman's choice. I pointed out that, actually, it isn't - even where people say that it is her choice.

It is a money-spinner. She is not allowed to take the decision and carry it out - only a (well-paid and expensive) medical team can do that.

I don't know if I'd be capable of raising a kid with downs... but I don't think I could abort a baby with a syndrome like that. If it came to it I know people who would LOVE to adopt any baby, with special needs or not, so that is always an option, there are alot less babies up for adoption than there are caregivers who want them here. I would however consider abortion for a baby with a syndrome which was incompatible with life outside the womb... I guess it's just where you personally draw the line.

If he looks at you and smiles, no doubt, he cares about you, but can be nervous. try to talk to him more and maybe even wonder if yall could study together. He could not tell if you're interested and want not to exceed its limits. Try to talk and flirt with him a bit more and see what happens! Good luck.
