Yes, it does. Knowing that a person has killed another is one thing, knowing that the reason the other person had to die was to save the lives of several innocents is another.

Had I not killed, many more would have died. This is called a "Moral Dilemma" - yet the final act is moral, nonetheless. Slackers, however, rarely see the bigger picture.
