There's different claims made in different books. Some claim to have found evidence for the Jews being in Egypt, etc. I know there are because I've read those. So, there's a dispute among those scholars. You are then choosing which side to take.

Lol Solomon was best knowed for his judgment, his great wisdom!

God did not recommend it? He ask human to kill people for that same reason!

btw cant remeber if you mentionned it but he had 300 concubine too with is 700 wife.

And the bible state that god punished him by splitting is kingdom and giving it to is servant, but only after his death not because of the wifes, but because they have turn him away from God, and he worshipped other God.

1 Kings 11:9-13
