RE: The best movie ever
There are a lot of great movies and it would be hard to choose which one would be the best. One of my favourite movies would probably be "Sweeney Todd" by Tim Burton. That's a very dark, tragic, violent film. It's a musical with really good songs in it.

RE: The best movie ever
Tim Burton movies are odd to me, I wasn't a huge fan of Sweeney Todd, and I absolutely couldn't stand the corpse bride, it really irritated me for some reason. I did quite like Edward Scissorhands though, go figure. I think it might be the pacing of the story that annoys me, hence the dislike of his musicals. I think Sweeney Todd has to be the only Johnny Depp movie I haven't really liked.
Best movie ever? How to pick! The Labyrinth is definately up there, and I really loved Howl's Moving Castle.

RE: The best movie ever
I looked at that link for the film "Stroszek", but I've not seen it at "arthouse" cinemas, nor on DVD in shops - though I saw that it's available from play.com - http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/110572/St...oduct.html
I think one of my favourite films has to be "The Godfather", which I saw for the first time a week or so ago at the cinema - it's been been digitised/re-released. Very good.

RE: The best movie ever
... oops ... I ought to have said "Adam" instead of "The Godfather", as it was the trailer for "Adam" I saw 3 months ago that alerted me to what I have is "Asperger's". But "The Godfather" is seriously good - I saw it at an 'arthouse' cinema - there was even a polite round of applause from the audience. How often do you hear that?
