At least that SHOULD be the case. All of you need to feel lucky and blessed that you are being treated and respected what you are worth! I need to DEMAND it because I won't get it by any other means.

OK...I have been reading this thread for a couple of days now, wondering when, how and if to butt in (which I actually hate to do, since everyone has some point to make), but it seems the arguing is perpetuating itself to no good end.  I'd like to see this thread get back on the topic of Emma Thomson's story.  I understand the concern some members have about the negative impression she might give about AS, but ultimately it is her story, and I believe she is entitled to tell it her way.  I also believe that we can debate that point without resorting to personal attacks.

enough with this crap! I At least Emma has a better relationship with her parents, and doesn't have to get treated like a baby. She must be freaking better than me!

As you all are!!!!!

I don't know what you're talking about. I thin that you are far better than many others that I know.

yes. I don't see much of a problem with you. I think that you are very mature, open minded, strong willed, and intelligent.

Thanks!

I hate to do this, I'm just feeling really frustrated right now because of patronising people.

I read about it on your venting thread. Everyone has times when they want to strangle their family. That's what family is. They annoy you. You're just going through a rough time right now, and will (likely) soon calm down.

One can't choose their family or their genes, but we can choose what we do in the future with our own life.

Rule 1. Never, ever, give up (mind blanks excepted)
Rule 2. Refer to rule 1.
