Also, I think hunting refers to "seeking out romantic relationships." I have fewer problems with dating than I do with making friends, and it is the section I had the highest NT score on, which leads me to draw that conclusion.

Apparently it wasn't the final final version, as there have been some new questions added since I took it last.

Your Aspie score: 170 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 30 of 200

My communication skills are both on the aspie and neurotypical side.  That sounds right to me.  This seems like a pretty good test I guess.  Even though the results just confirmed that I am very confusing to myself, lol.

There are experimental questions from time to time, but the questions and the scoring algorithm has been the same ever since April 2008.

That might soon change though. Big Grin
I'm planning a minor upgrade that will exchange the Aspie activity group with a Aspie social group. IOW, there will then be symmetry in the spider-diagram. In this process, I will also refresh the weight factors to use another 100,000 or so answers. Before that there will be a few more experimental questions as the Aspie social group needs a lot more research before the most important aspects can be extracted. The romantic questions were one part of this research.

No, this will be the new Aspie social group. It relates primarily to Aspie obsession and Aspie communication.

Aspie hunting is related to habitat preferences and passive-hunting, preferently with traps and things like that.

RE: Aspie Quiz - final version (apparently)

Hi. I just registered here. My name is Ileana and I have suspected I have AS for a while now. I took this test to reassure myself because in a week I have an appointment in my search for a diagnosis and I'm a little aprehensive. I was surprised when I read the questions here because I saw a lot of things that semed to describe me perfectly.

"Your Aspie score: 190 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 27 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie."

I don't know how to paste the picture here...but it locates me primarily in the aspie side, with only minor exceptions.
Maybe I'm being naive but taking this test has given me a glimmer of hope that I could get a legitimate diagnosis, not that being self-diagnosed is anything bad but I am actually perssuing a diagnosis this time in my life and I hope to achieve this.
I wonder if I could show this test to the doctor as proof that it is highly possible that I may have AS. I mean, I have no doubt about it but she could.

It says "You have answered inconsistently on too many control-questions" WTF does that mean?

Interesting methinks.

My father, brother and two of my cousins have Asperger's... could it be their influence, or might it be...that this is where my problems (social phobia/learning difficulties, despite high intelligence, etc etc) stem from?

I am starting to wonder.
