My score, I am 40 and a prison officer, I love Dr Who and can quote from every (classic) episode and have had numerous obsessions, mainly cars and dr who, I have an Aspie son who is wonderful and everyone says he is a mini-me!

Am I right in assuming that you only ever thought about autism after your son got a diagnosis? That's what happened to me, 5 years ago ...

thats right, I have always been a bit different according to people I know, but gradually learned to understand other people.  It was only with my sons diagnosis that I recognised the same patterns in myself - also, my sons headteacher has known me since I was a child and said he was a 'mini-me'.  Elliott (my son) is a lovely lad though, now has a fully funded statement and support.

Hello there, smurfy. Any special interest in little blue Belgian gnomes?

Yes I suppose so.  I do not obsess on them or anything, but I do tend to use smurf related user names and Papa Smurf as an icon/avatar pretty frequently.

Most people thing my special interests are pretty "special" though.  

Take a glance at my signature, I have my results there, although not the chart. I'm surprised by how high my Aspie score was and how low my Neurotypical score was, I had always thought I was more mild, then again it's only an internet test.
