You still haven't answered any of Fnord's questions, and if the word you're referring to is "evidence" then I'm sure Fnord does know what it means, just as you seem to know what "evasive" means.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
You keep evading my request. I do not believe that you have any evidence to support your claims. "Deduction" is not enough. "Opinion" is not enough. Ad Hominem attacks are not enough.
So once again I ask you to show proof of your assertions that Jesus was an aspie, that you are like Jesus, and that Aspies could be like Jesus if they had only enough confidence.

Sorry, what form of evidence would you like that Jesus had Aspergers? He's been written about in the Bible. Everything he said and did makes sense if he had Aspergers. Take your pick. It's all right there.

You're the one who came up with the idea, so it's really incumbent on you to provide the evidence.

So you've only assumed that Jesus had AS based on your own subjective interpretations. Sorry, that is simply insufficient. Everything written in the Bible about Jesus makes even more sense for the fact that He was the only begotten son of the Living God. Your assertion is dismissed for lack of evidence.
Now, how about those other assertions? The ones where you stated that you are like Jesus, and that all Aspies could be like Jesus if they had only enough confidence? Please provide evidence to support your assertions.

Every single thing Jesus said or did makes more sense if he's Aspergers than NT. Every single thing. I'm not quoting the entire Bible, and individual bits of circumstantial evidence only become persuasive en masse. But I would be amazed if someone could cite something Jesus said or did that was more NT than aspie.
Fnord, you take the Bible literally, clearly any discussion with you is pointless.

Your evasions, sweeping generalizations, and Ad Hominem attacks are what makes this discussion untennable. Why not simply state the evidence that led you to your conclusions? A simple essay, citing valid references, and lacking entierly in false data and fallacies of reasoning would certainly go a long way towards proving your claims. Otherwise, your claims are as delusional and heretical as any messianic wannabe that has visited AFF after going off their meds.

You believe Jesus was the only begotten son of the living God. One of us is nuts.
If someone who believes Jesus was an inspirational ordinary man wants to discuss his aspieness, I'd be very interested. Feel free to PM me.

The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God."
-- Luke 1:35 (NIV)
That's what the Bible says, thus disproving your insinuations.

Good luck with that. I nearly got banned during a time when people here thought that I was an Atheist. You'll find few, if any takers on your offer.
However, you might like the James Randi website (http://www.randi.org). The community there is mostly made up of skeptics, and most of them are also Atheists. You should feel right at home.

This some delicious blasphemy. It is mixed with one quart Aspie Supremacy, topped with a light sprinkling of arrogance and toasted lightly before being served with a side of Circular Logic. It menaces with spikes of Ad Hominim and Strawman. On it is an expertly engraved image of a No True Scotsman. The Scotsman has Coolface.
For the record, I'm about as Atheist as they come

Also, dtx, I'm not sure you're aware of this, but one of the people you're arguing with is uh, Clergy. Just putting that out there.

I get girls this way. I figure that so long as I don't kill anyone I'm closer to Jesus than I am Charles Manson. But clearly on that axis.
Also: healing hands. Bet I'm not the only aspie with those.

RE: Aspergers as Gift - Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies
Are you familiar with the tense feeling when you are near a crazy person who can't deal with you? Crazyness is fear hardened into lies that they keep between their soul and the world. Around aspies (me, Jesus and a bunch of others, though not all of us) lies BURN. Crazy people feel we are attacking them because they believe their hardened fear is a part of themselves and around us it burns, threatening to bring them into the real world. So they go nuts and crucify us. Happened to Jesus, happens to me. Happens to a bunch of you in different ways all the time.
Less crazy people, those who are ready to be healed, may come to us and have their lies burned away. Guilt, grief, whatever they are ready to let go of and rejoin us in God's kingdom. Exactly the same process. Lies burning. I don't understand that entirely because you don't need to say anything; you don't argue lies away, you just expose them to love.
