And, I'm sorry, but in NT-ese, "she wanted me to return once I 'got better' " probably means "don't come back."

So them saying "We Like you Noranne, we wouldn't hang out with you if we didn't." Is "We don't like you very much but we're being nice to you because we feel bad?"

Sigh feels like middle school all over again with the so-called "Nice girls" being "Nice." No wonder I was so aggressive, I though all girls still had ulterior motives to their nice behavoir.

I thought that *** was gone once you finished puberty. Damn...I wanted community so BAD to belong to! I was kinda happy at the Pagan dissussion groups I loved them. Now I feel like I'm back at school again I can't enjoy it with people glaring me sliently.

I hope that you can keep yourself from becoming cynical about people again.  Many people are generally good, but are fallable, imperfect and make mistakes... it doesn't have to be grade school all over again.  That would be a shame to frame relationships that way due to a couple of silly women.

I think that it is possible that these two ladies really think they are helping somehow.  I think they absolutley overstepped and were wrong in thinking they knew the first thing about you "medically".  Also, the triangulation tactic was wrong.  One on one is more straightforward.

I think that a mistake people can make is to start acting differently based on other people perhaps having ulterior motives.  Better to be yourself, take the high road and continue to go to your group then to imagine or guess what people are thinking and why.  Attributing reason to other people, regardless of nuerotype, is a guess and a waste of time, in my opinion.  Thinking negatively will just bring you down I think.  Don't let mistaken, misguided or ignorant people attribute behaviors to you, and taken them to heart.

Whether they were well meaning or not is not the point.  Don't let them affect your confidence in yourself.  If your instinct is that they generally have good judgemnt, try not to hold their ignorance against them. (forever anyway). I feel sad about your coffee encounter, it seems like you did remarkably well.
