My Hero -- a British sitcom about an alien superhero named "Thermalman" who is the most Aspie character I've ever seen in TV!

Secret Squirrel. I feel like one when I try and socialize. But seriously the earlier planet of the apes TV series. Never come across it on DVD. The movies, yes.

My library has the entire Planet of the Apes TV series  in a set, but I cannot remember if it was on DVD or video.

Dark Angel.

It was cancelled after it's second season. Forget when it was in production, though.

That show was awesome, had a somewhat reasonable fan base ,which is why i was shocked when it got canceled...

I think it had something to do with budget cuts or whatever. >.< I read that somewhere, anyway.

Dark Angel is still an awesome show. It's just cancelled.

ooo ooo there was this awesome BBC show years ago called "Shooting the Past". It had these people fighting to save a photo-library by telling all these stories from all the photos they had. I've been hunting it ever since, but it just doesn't exist in Australia! I can't find a torrent with seeds either.

Looks like another victim of the BBC's insane DVD marketing.  A Region 1 NTSC copy from Amazon isn't too horribly painful (USD 23.99 + 4.99 shipping to Oz, provided you're in no big hurry).  A Region 2/4 PAL copy appears to be about the same -- around GBP 15 and 3-4 quid shipping from amazon.co.uk partners.

Dark Angel was cancelled by Fox after two seasons so Fox could focus more on Joss Whedon's new show Firefly.....

.....which they then cancelled after half a season

Many of my favourite kids' TV programmes, e.g.
Jigsaw
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jigsaw_(UK_TV_series)
The Drak Pack
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0220892/
Moschops
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310497/
Play Away (much more than a spin-off of Playschool!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Play_Away

And for older viewers:
Absolutely
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolutely_(TV_series)

As the player's breath warms the fipple the tone clears.
It is time to consider how Domenico Scarlatti
condensed so much music into so few bars
with never a crabbed turn or congested cadence,
never a boast or a see-here; and stars and lakes
echo him and the copse drums out his measure,
snow peaks are lifted up in moonlight and twilight
and the sun rises on an acknowledged land.

Basil Bunting, Briggflatts
