Really sorry but I had to edit your post, this is very unusual; to happen, but having checked the link there was graphic sexual content on it, which we cannot possibly link to.
I'm sure you didn't realise that when you posted it, I have copied and pasted from the link, the part pertaining to aspergers.
From the ljdrama site -
"In a long line of f***ds and a***ats, at the front would have to be the asperger community. Now granted LJDrama is no medical authority, but these retards are usually self-diagnosed morons with a little too much time on their hands, a fear of crowds and more animals than most zoos. As evidenced here:
I was just wondering if there are any aspies on here who happen to think primarily in words rather than images.
The idiocy continues on into the comments:
My memories always come with a picture
And here:
Do you mean you think in spoken word or in written word?
I think in spoken word.
Best response: I think in mainly written word. These people have serious issues. Are they mentally deficient? No argument there.
The best part of the post really is the music she’s listening to:
Super Mario Bros. Overworld Theme"

Can I have the link please? I couldn't really make sense of what this is about but I think I would like to know.

I found the "offending site" and had to join (ugh!) to read the comments section. It seems that even the members didn't like what was posted-but not because it was offensive...just boring. I liked this comment and wanted to share it with everyone at AFF...
Ok… so let me get this straight.
Because you are ignorant and unaware of the differences between auditory sequential thinking and visual spatial thinking, and because there is a community of people who are intelligent and are aware of the differences between auditory sequential thinking and visual spatial thinking (possibly because the community is for those with Asperger’s Syndrome, which has a high rate of visual spatial thinkers), you have decided that all members of this community are f*******s, a*****s and retarded morons who are mentally deficient?
You seem to find the idea of different ways of thinking to be quite strange and dramatic. Need I point out that most mentally competent people over the age of about six appear to be able to comprehend that other human beings might think differently to them? Your lack of knowledge in the area of thought processing is a fascinating illustration of your own ignorance, which is amusing at best and pathetic at worst, not to mention extremely judgemental.
And just for the record: it is quite common for visual thinkers to think in written words. There is a higher liklihood that the individual suffered from chronic ear infections as a child than that the person is an internet junkie, although I suppose that it must be hard to comprehend that there are people out there that don’t spend every second of the day creating drama out of academia and broadcasting it on the world wide web…
I wonder if someone from AFF is Purrrgle....

Well, I commend her...whoever she is...because she put the person who posted that initial comment in their place-and still maintained an astute position. With an attitude like hers, she can advocate for me anyday  .

Purrrgle is the person who posted the defense of my post. She's really sweet. Mine was the one that they were dissing...I was pretty angry at what they said about my post, but you know what? People suck, and I try as hard as I can to ignore their ignorance and stupidity.
By the way, I think LJDrama (viewing-wise) is appropriate for all ages. If you let your kids see it and explain WHY it is bad, it's fine. Censorship teaches NOTHING. I just think what they say is wrong. I think that censoring kids is not going to teach them ***. (I apologize for my language, I'm kind of pissy right now) I'm sorry, I just get VERY angry at recommendations of age-based censorship.

Jess, the site had a hard core pornographic video image on it, constantly playing, anyone under 18 needs to be censored from viewing that, it is the law.
We would be breaking the law to link to such images, we have children as young as 10 here.

I wouldn't be linking to that porn either, mind you...I'm a forum mod myself, and I delete porn links all the time, so I know how it is.
I was saying that the LAWshould be changed to be more open-minded, that's all. I think that it's up to the individual whether something is inappropriate or not. It's not yourfault, it's the government's.

But naturally, a child is not going to heed the 18+ warning, and is still going to google search for the site anyway, so it really makes no difference whether the link is there or not (I acknowledge that you have to do this though, Amy). I think people in government, and probably the vast majority of adults, forgets what it's like to be a kid, how they think, what they think about, and just how 'innocent' their precious little angels(:twisted are, whether they have internet access or not.
Good luck waiting for any government to become more open-minded, I can't see it happening in the next few thousand years.
As for the original topic... it's awful to see how ignorant or simply stupid people can be.

Of course, Dreamer. I can understand why Amy removed the links though, and that's what I said in the previous post that I made. That warning is just going to make them want to go there more (good ol' Reverse Psychology!). It's really sad how young people are infantilized, especially teenagers, whose sex drives have developed fairly well. It's going to take a long time for people to realize that kids have sexual feelings as well, but in order to make people realize, we're going to actually have to state things outright. All bigotry is originally accepted as "common sense," but after one reaches enlightenment, that old common sense becomes nonsense. I tend to be rather preachy and adamant about youth rights, especially since I'm a youth rights activist and feel very strongly about universal rights for all ages, shapes, sizes, colors, religions, backgrounds, neurotypes...you name it. People should be approached as individuals. That's my basis for being a human-rights activist.
About the LJDrama post itself, I was initially very upset about it, because the post that I made was directly insulted, so it personally affects me. I was furious...but then I resigned myself to the fact that people will be um...jerks. I can't stand ignorance, and I wish that people would simply open their minds and experience a world different from the one in which they inhabit, colored by ignorance and prejudice.

You mean people who've orbited the sun less than 18 times have sexual feelings??  You'd have to have a sick mind to even conceptualize such a.... a, a, a disgusting thought! (*excessive sarcasm*)
Yep, many adults seem to develop a weird kind of senility in regards to childhood, no wonder kids turn into screwed up adults. Ohhh, but they're screwed up by the exposure, not the repression...
The things that gets me is that (in Australia at least) it is recomended that people under 15 be accompanied by an adult to movies and programs rated 'PG'. So it is 'recommended' that a fourteen year should watch Harry Potter or The Simpsons with 'parental guidance'. And Lord of the Rings is recommended only for people 15 and over. People who work as censors must have had extremely traumatic and repressed childhoods...

The law on porn being for over 18's is a way to stop those under 18 being USED in the making of porn. This is a major problem in some countries in the world.

The law is still WRONG as it denies young people the right to sexual expression. I am agreeing with Dreamer once again. I agree that pedophilia is bad, but instead of just hiding kids from everything sexual, we should teach them how not to let adults exploit them, but also allow themselves to have sexual feelings. Education, not censorship, is the right way to go about things.
