Are we here promoting underage sex or autism rights????

I was under the impression that we were talking about teenagers legally old enough to engage in sex so my argument was directed at those aged 16 - 19 years old which was why I though you're argument to be a little OTT.

in the US 16-18 is still considered to be minors and not able to give consent

Then I guess I am condoning it after all

Here in the UK it's from 16 years old for any sexuality. I don't have any problem with the way it stands.

If NAAR, CAN or the media have a problem with my opinions they can take it up with the British goverment

Who is going to pay

for the kids to download porn? As a parent, I certainly don't want to waste my money on this kind of rubbish or have my kids wasting time on it. Some of this stuff is seriously sick eg. people doing it with animals, torture and child abuse so I don't think kids should have open slather on watching it. As Lili Marlene said, the world would be far better off without this cr@p.

I agree that you can't stop kids from experimenting with sex but don't think it should be encouraged as much as it is now. It's one thing to be physically mature enough to have sex (often kids are going through puberty much earlier than in previous generations) and quite another to have the emotional maturity to deal with a relationship with another person.

What happens if there is an unplanned pregnancy or a disease is caught? Gay people can catch diseases even though pregnancy is not an issue.
I don't believe in abortion so have told my girls if they get pregnant I will help out with looking after the baby so they can finish their schooling.

I helped out when my sister fell pregnant at 15.

No, I was talking about kids aged 16 and over having consentual sex.

But now you mention it I don't have too much of a problem with 16 year olds downloading a few pics to masterbate to or use as a sex aid.

No-one should be allowed to watch it, it's illegal here as it is in most civilised countries (as far as I know). Pictures of children engaging in sexual acts is not pornography, it's photographic evidence of child abuse as far as I'm concerned.

Wouldn't a magazine be cheaper?

I guess my concern was not only about kids being exposed to noxious images on the net but also about parents being lumbered with the cost.
Some parents have got huge phone bills and then found their teenager has been going onto all these "adult" sites. I believe you can get a bar put on your phone to prevent this.

What counts as being noxious though?

That sounds closer to a discipline problem than a immorale one, if you catch my drift. What about parents who don't ever recive any such bills? Is there no problem there?

Ok… so let me get this straight.
Because you are ignorant and unaware of the differences between auditory sequential thinking and visual spatial thinking, and because there is a community of people who are intelligent and are aware of the differences between auditory sequential thinking and visual spatial thinking (possibly because the community is for those with Asperger’s Syndrome, which has a high rate of visual spatial thinkers), you have decided that all members of this community are f*******s, a*****s and retarded morons who are mentally deficient?

You seem to find the idea of different ways of thinking to be quite strange and dramatic. Need I point out that most mentally competent people over the age of about six appear to be able to comprehend that other human beings might think differently to them? Your lack of knowledge in the area of thought processing is a fascinating illustration of your own ignorance, which is amusing at best and pathetic at worst, not to mention extremely judgemental.

And just for the record: it is quite common for visual thinkers to think in written words. There is a higher liklihood that the individual suffered from chronic ear infections as a child than that the person is an internet junkie, although I suppose that it must be hard to comprehend that there are people out there that don’t spend every second of the day creating drama out of academia and broadcasting it on the world wide web…

I wonder if someone from AFF is Purrrgle....

hahahahah, go purrrgle!
