Update:

There is no charity collecting hair in Australia.

I shall be selling my hair to the commercial wig maker and the proceeds will be given to the Cancer Council ACT: The Wig Service.

I also hope to be allowed to collect money at the actual event which will also go to the same charity.

I'm really sorry I didn't thank you earlier, I have been very busy today - son number two (the 25 year old Martial Arts Instructor) arrived from England this morning!

I asked him if he would do the honours; and his reply made me very glad that I didn't give him prior warning.

He said that, if I had told him before he left, he would have brought a razor-sharp Samurai sword for the job! Sad Sad Sad Tongue

And he even offered to lay my head on a block and wear a blindfold!

I hope he was joking....

I doubt there's any time. It is already APD here (albeit just after half-past midnight) and I have no contacts in the media... Sad
