I am ignorant about autism....I just discovered more about it not even a year and a half ago.  Still looking into things, not looking to fight, was under the impression that a diagnosis of autism at birth was rare since autism is diagnosed later in life.  I do not make the diagnosis, at no time did I say I developed anything, I read what is in his IEP that's all there is too it.  I get defensive due to people missunderstanding me ALL the time, it's a common accurance so to avoid myself from getting into debates I just shut off, and leave it.  I have very rudimentary ways and I am aware of that.  I am sorry if it looked like I was rude, but I was just being avoidy.  please don't reply to me about this anymore, I am aware that I don't know that much about autism yet, and I just posted a little blurb about one of my consumers, I wont do it again, so I hope this clears the air.  Not trying to cause myself to be missunderstood.
