I've kind of stopped posting for a while because I've got a dissertation to write. Will return soon. When I came across this newsbit by accident, though, I felt I had to check if someone posted it here. They hadn't so I did.

I saw a news report where McCain was answering questions to a mom about autism. He didnt mention vaccines then. I think he said his wife worked with autistic children.

1. McCain IS a Republican
2. McCain is a war hero, a prisoner of war
3. If McCain is in bed with big oil, it is less obvious (Bush is an oil tycoon)
4. McCain does not seem like a barroom bully
5. If Cheney were on the ticket I'd crap my guts out (I would have voted Republican in the primary to keep Cheney out)

I thought leaving the theater after watching Sicko, I am leaving for Canada or Britain, my own native country America has an inferior concept of civilization (mass health care at least for routine stuff like broken bones and infectious disease).
