The SOBs who run the local chapter of Autism Speaks, here in Cleveland, tried to have me arrested. Whether you think autism is influenced by environmental factors or you don't, I think most people would be appalled to know that somebody just standing on a public sidewalk politely handing out information would be threatened with arrest if they didn't cease.

First the SOBs tried to have me arrested outside of one of their benefit concerts, where I was handing out information about thimerosal. (I would ask people entering the venue if they would like some information about vaccine safety, and if they said yes I handed them a flyer, and if they said no, I let them pass.)  Two police cars showed up and police officers told me to leave and I refused. The chief of police eventually came and he told me I could stay.

Then, a few weeks after that happened to me, the local chapter president here in Cleveland, Ms. Shari Goldberg, posted on a local internet forum trying to raise money for Autism Speaks, which made me apoplectic. So I posted a reply to that forum, explaining the arrest attempt outside of the House of Blues on April 21 of last year, and I can't believe it but the biatch lied about it and said that nobody tried to have me arrested.

I took it upon myself to obtain a copy of the police incident report.

Great, now I have a police record. The incident report says that I was 'threatening and harrassing' guests. I was doing no such thing. It also says that the House of Blues sent for the police, but it was the women of Autism Speaks who'd organized the concert there at the House of Blues who had told me that I'd be arrested if I didn't leave.

Goldberg has lied to me, and about me, publicly, and I'd sue her a&& if I had the resources to do it.

Autism Speaks is as corrupt an organization as exists this side of hell, except maybe for the CDC. I so want them brought down.

I don't support Autism Speaks either but you generation types deserve to be arrested

and besides, he didnt say if he was for or against the vaccine theory.

I guess many wants Autism Speaks' money to be used on biomedical research. I personally don't see anything wrong with that in contrast to development of prenetal tests. Some of you might not believe that biomed could be helpfull for autistic people, well, if there finally is some money into it we might finally find out with double-blind tests or whatever. If, lets say chelation, turns out to actually be helpfull for some autistic people, then that's great. If we find that it isn't, well then fewer parents have to spend money on something that turned out to be nothing.

Whether they are "for or against" is irrelevant - the reason many of us dropped by is that we support reasonable freedom of speech.

We saw what Autism Speaks was doing to abscout so we came to see if we could help. I (for one) hope that nogggin is given the same right to express their opinion whether one agrees with their position or not.

I just figured I'd mention this to anyone interested.  I bought the domain "autismpride.com" a little while back with plans on making some form of a site to disprove Autism Speaks' myths and etc.  I still haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet, so if anyone is interested I'll gladly transfer this domain over to anyone who wants it for free, granted that it will be used for the purpose of showing that Autism is not something to be ashamed of or hated.

Note:  This is the domain only, you'll have to come up with your own hosting server, but prices for rented server space are constantly dropping.

Just my opinion, but even though they dropped their "case" against you the point is that they were threatening you with legal action.  That was wrong. Think about bringing this public and embarrassing them.  Think about it, okay?

Judging from the response on Fark, Reddit, Autism Hub, Wrong Planet, etc. I'd say it already has
