Any Capitalists here?

Like me ;]

I would like to find out if there are actually any Aspies with my mindset, if there isn't clearly I don't belong here.

RE: Any Capitalists here?

Depends how you define "capitalist".

RE: Any Capitalists here?

Yes, I see but is there any place in this world for unions and workers' rights?

If properly ran and moderated Tongue

Unions ruined the British Motor Industry you know. (and poor management ;p)

Hell the British Union leaders were going up to Moscow now and then to recieve "orders" apparently, this was in the 1970s.

RE: Any Capitalists here?

As we've previously discussed, I agree that the capitalist model is the best (known) one.

RE: Any Capitalists here?

I've considered combining the Capitalist Economic system with a Authoritarian Political system, but I dunno ;p

It's all academic of course, some could argue that my above proposition is probably what USA practices this century lol.

RE: Any Capitalists here?

Capitalist systems are alright as long as there are some checks and balances to ensure that consumers aren't ripped off and that workers are treated properly by their bosses.

In some businesses, the workers and the bosses aren't friends with each other.

RE: Any Capitalists here?

Well I wouldn't be friends with my workers.

BUT I would treat them as friends. Tongue

A contradiction I know, but then I myself am a contradiction ;]

RE: Any Capitalists here?

I believe capitalism promotes greed and envy and can bring out the worst in many people. That being said I do live in a capitalist country and so must ‘play the game’ to put food on the table and a roof over my head.

When people start to hold the pursuit of wealth above their responsibilities to other people then this is when the trouble really starts.
