Where would the best place to live in Europe be for an American?

When I am old enough to emigrate, I plan on leaving the US (if I can). On New Years Eve, the Congress passed a law that essentially destroyed the Fifth Amendment. And they may pass SOPA which would prevent the citizens from communicating en masse. So, I am hoping to leave when I am old enough.

I noticed that a lot of the members here are in Europe or Australia. Where should I plan to move?
