When people use tough love on you
Tough love is nothing more than punishing someone, ironically "for their own good", for something either they don't know what they're doing, can't help or need to do for their survival. There is always another way. It doesn't work because it's cruel.
What do you do when people try and use tough love on you?
I also hate it when I complain about tough love and then they think that it's not the principle that I'm against, but that I just got pissy that they weren't treating me like some special queen or something,or they think I got pissy because I don't want to change but am perfectly capable of it and am just being difficult for fun or something. That ain't true, folks.
so next time I'm going to make sure there are no miscommunications. I will tell them that it is the principle of tough love that I'm against.
