Over the past semester I've variously developed interests in learning Japanese, learning Esperanto, learning American Sign Language, and learning about how to learn languages.

The last one is really fascinating- I had no idea there were so many methods and so much controversy surrounding which ones work best and why.  I haven't much gotten into the neuroscience behind language (yet), but I've been spending hours on this website:  www/how-to-learn-any-language.com  Which, despite the scam-tastic name, is actually really reliable and in-depth.

Anyway, I was wondering if any other members here had developed special interests in learning languages, which languages they were, and how you learned.  I'm going to be trying to become fluent in Esperanto by the end of the summer so I'm especially interested in methods.
