Question  people-in-the-middle AS\NT interaction

I have the impression i'm not the only middle person here Shy
(middle people- those who are in the middle between the AS world and the NT world).
I wonder, how is it for the rest of you - do you feel like a mediator, explaining AS people and NT people to eachother?
do you feel neither of them can understand you?
(ofcourse when I speak of AS & NT people, it's a generalization, and there will be exceptions).
