Are you working, studying, unemployed?

We are thinking of having a work related forum, what current position are you in?

Greetings,

Well thats a hard one - I'm options 2, 4 and 5 all at once Tongue

I've been unemployed for 3 years, But I am currently getting 50 hours worth of payment for teh voluntary stuff I'm doing so I'm technically employed at this point.  And I'm also unable to hold down a proper job unless I get my problems addressed.

All office work and lots of school makes Pauric a dull boy.

Brightman, I read your profile. You are kidding, right?

I have been a stay-at-home mom for 25 years. Since August, now that my youngest daughter is 13, I babysit two little boys three days a week. But other than that, I am basically unemployable and would be unable to go to school full time as well. I get overwhelmed way too easily, and have very little energy, which stems from a combination of problems with fibromyalgia and sensory overload.

I work part-time as a cleaning lady. I clean people's homes when they are out, so I don't have all the worry of being around strange peope all the time.

I've tried all kinds of other work, but I always get into difficulties not knowing what to say, or when to stop talking, or how to tell whether someone is bored or interested, or knowing when not to sing and so on.

Heh, that's hilarious. Anyway, I'm a full time employee for the U.S. government (Department of Defense, specifically).

At the moment I am, technically, umemployed but I'm doing voluntary work as a computer technician at the North Staffs Asperger/Autism Association office. I am still trying to find a job either in computers, music or the ringtone industry.

Both my son and I are presently employed working 40 hr. a week jobs.  It is a necessary struggle to work full time but we end up totally exhausted at the end of each day.

The only thing on our mind at the end of the day/week is racing home (to our home/safehaven) to regroup, regenerate and to mull through the events of the day and it's various stresses.
