I was wondering if anyone here was into psionics or anything psi ? I decided to ask after logging onto psivamps(and pls no ignorant comments on those people before checking your facts). (I am not one of those people myself , if you know what kind of site I meant, just adding already in case anyone is wondering/wanted to ask)

So, I'll assume you aren't interested in it and don't practice it ? =p  I don't mind skeptics at all, the more the merrier. If everyone was no skeptic and lots of people learned, I'd have no privacy and there would be more awful things, rises in all sorts of things. The world needs skeptics. **No seriously, none of this is supposed to be taken as smart aleck or anything***

Not sure if it's the same thing you're talking about, but every experiment I've ever heard of having to do with psychic phenomena was pretty biased one way or the other. I don't believe in it, personally, but I haven't specifically seen anything to refute it.

What exactly do you mean by psionics?

I know about psivamps.

I'm a skeptic too. I think people who claim to be psivamps are delusionnal.

I think that you will find mainly skeptics here. Including myself.

I find it interesting. Just not credible.

I find it to be a very interesting plot device for novels, both which I write and which I read.

In regards to Psionics in reality: I believe it could eventually become something that is commonly used, but currently, the only people who 'might' be able to use it claim it took them their entire lives of 'meditation and concentration' to do something as simple as 'bend a spoon'.

In essence, great for fiction, but in real life we're generations away from seeing it in daily life, if ever.

I cant believe that with internet people still believe in these thing...

People will believe what they want to believe that is how it works.

There are people who claim to be able to use it that didn't take their entire lives of meditation. And some of these people sure might, in my opinion. Lots who claim on the internet (and I don't mean busting out to the world, I don't know how many went anywhere big with their claim) are over looked. I go to a channel on an OEC network where atleast one of the people claim that their abilities are natural. (She was cursing about something popping off in her kitchen, after being upset, by her abilities, and since she didn't do it on purpose I was wondering if it was natural or learned). I don't know about everyone else's abilities there.

Also, the first thing I think of in the psychokinesis area isn't bending a spoon.. that's very fake-tk person cliche.

Also I hope it doesn't become commonly used. Because I'm selfish, and think of how frigging dangerous that is. People could do lots of stuff, and finding people guilty of things could be hard and also raise the number of innocent people just put in.. if you think about it... (if people are asses and just start convicting based off what they think)

Internet is actually what helps band them together.

I hope there's never peer reviewed, credible evidence released. I hope people keep finding every single tiny hole there could be in experiments to half make them invalid and declare them totally invalid. Even keep tampering too, if that may be going on. Maybe I should start sending my opinion out to people who are trying to prove things exist.
