A former JRC worker who quit because of their methods is petitioning the Massachusetts state legislature to stop the abuse at the Judge Rotenberg Center. It needs signatures (where you live doesn't matter):

I signed it... I played the video and I was not ready for that! I don't know what I was expecting but they really got straight on footage and I've just stopped the video... I'm not sure if I can watch it but I'll get others to sign it.

Ugh, this silver dude on youtube is just sick. I really want him shocked, just ONCE... or at least chased with it. Made to hear their screams, and then chased with the device. This all stems to the "children are inferior" attitude. Anything is acceptable when a child "disobeys". Your coach is verbally abusing your entire team (and it's known to cause eating disorders)? No problem! what's the problem here? When I was young they'd hit me in the face with a kicking board for being too noisy! How dare she tell her parents or record what the coach did? Why, if I had a kid, I'd tell her to quit complaining and take it!
Meanwhile... an adult student in an apprenticeship is abused by his master, but oh no, that's NOT acceptable, right? He should hit him for saying all that! Respect!
(the things said here aren't my views or anything, it's just an impersonation).
Kid trying to be smart or cool with the teacher? Gym teacher beat him down? Oh, that's alright.
You're an adult, taken in by someone, and you try to be smart with them? Wow, geez, assaulting and battering you was an over reaction!
