this is a really stupid idea but onAPD you get like any piece anti autistic materials on paper...like autisim speaks brochures and puzzle insginias and stuff like that and you have a small contained bonfire, with marshmelows and that can like represent how media definitions dont define us or something. yeah i know stupid idea

wasnt really seen as a protest..if it were a protest it would be quite dangours and will become pear shaped.
i see it like you know with purim (jewish festival) were you eat hamantashan (this nice sweet bread/biscuit) that reprensents the death of some bad guy who was agaisnt the jews...sort of, for fun

I had smores in a restaurant in the States, first time I ever heard of them was when I saw them on the menu. They were very good, but you had to assemble them yourself (which was the fun part actually). They provided a tiny little stove/burner to toast the marshmallows on.

If we held one in Oz it'd have to be on a day that's not got a Total Fire Ban in place.  Which is pretty much all of the Spring/Summer/Autumn months, and any other time when it's dry.  So most of winter, as well...Cool

I'm not really a fan of book burnings. They've never once made a book less popular. But, any excuse to get some friends together and hang around a fire after dark is fine with me.

According to historical myth, Nero converted to Judaism before the end of his reign.

It's a marshmallow (roasted over a fire) and a chocolate bar, sandwiched between two graham crackers. They're actually pretty tasty, and it's usually dark when you eat them, so it doesn't matter as much how they look.

Thanks for the explanation of THE THING in the picture.  I thought at first it was a piece of chicken breast fillet with barbecue sauce, sandwiched, for no apparent reason, between two Weetbix!  

Nice to know that instead, it is a marshmellow concoction, sandwiched, for no apparent reason, between two biscuits.

Here in Australia we've got a confection known as a Wagon Wheel, which is similar.  The biscuit is spread with plum jam, the whole is dipped in chocolate.  Extremely sweet and gooey and not really to my taste, since it's way too rich.

That link to S'mores was a hoot!  And it explains something that puzzled me about skyblue's comment on "graham".  I had no idea what that could be until I watched the clip: graham is a type of biscuit, right?  Here in Australia it's just a male name.  So I've learned something new today!

Seriously though, it's no wonder there's an obesity problem in the developed world, with food like we've been describing!
