RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Tigger_the_Wing - 04-18-2008 05:25 PM Silky, I think you are looking at this the wrong way! You don't kill threads - you give the definitive last word on them, so that no-one else feels it necessary to add to what you have posted! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And Korrigan; people see what you have written, think "How wise!" and are happy! RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - silky - 04-18-2008 05:52 PM Who shall be the last one standing in this one I wonder?
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Yigal - 04-18-2008 06:49 PM Well... you have started this thread, how does that fit into your theory of eventually being a thread killer?
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Natalie - 04-18-2008 08:12 PM I tend to kill a lot of threads, I've found out over the years. RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Yigal - 04-18-2008 08:30 PM How about 'Thread Concluder', or is it too euphemismish? Patterns emerge in randomness if one has images and expectations in mind which are actually the blueprints for those patterns. RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - gitchel - 04-18-2008 10:59 PM Know who else was a thread killer? Hitler! ;-) RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - silky - 04-19-2008 12:47 PM i have no idea what that means but i think you just won RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - gitchel - 04-19-2008 05:08 PM silky Wrote: i have no idea what that means but i think you just won
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Yigal - 04-19-2008 05:17 PM Not bad, not bad. Sure a good thing to know, this law of Godwin. If I wanted to be the killer of this thread, I should not conclude my post with a question, right? That would leave me really dumb out here, don't you think? RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Ivar T - 04-19-2008 05:29 PM I get the replies to my thread via mail, but I don't get notified if I've killed a thread, so I usually don't notice if I've killed a thread. I notice however if my threads doesn't get a reply. Seems like I've killed a few threads except my own though: Search RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Ivar T - 04-19-2008 05:32 PM Replies to my threads which I subscribe to* RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Alias Pseudonym - 04-19-2008 06:33 PM gitchel Wrote: Know who else was a thread killer?
Hitler! ;-)
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Thomas the Solitary - 04-21-2008 08:08 AM I think I've killed a few here and there. However, what I think is worse is being (seemingly) ignored. Theres been a couple of times where I've wrote something, no response. Then someone else comes along and says the same exact thing, only with slightly different words, and gets lots of responses. (in the same thread, btw) That's kind of irksome. Well, confusing, really. I really haven't been keeping up over on this forum as much as I used to. I do have an RSS feed for new threads, though. So I suppose I keep up a little bit
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Tigger_the_Wing - 04-21-2008 10:14 AM But you haven't killed this one, just yet Mr. Solitary! I just checked: ![]() Yep, still alive! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Thomas the Solitary - 04-22-2008 05:51 AM Heh heh. Mr. Solitary, is it? The world needs more people like Tigger the Wing. Let it be known all across the land! Ethel: I think the problem is that I'm newish, and it takes a while for newish people to be completely accepted. I can understand that completely
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Dark Shamshir X - 04-23-2008 03:34 AM Although I don't usually kill threads, watch out! I am a necromancer! RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - SoccerFreak248 - 04-23-2008 03:54 AM no... im definatly the biggest thread killer, or that no one ever listens to me, but I get that in real life too RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Mahler5 - 04-24-2008 03:02 AM SoccerFreak248 Wrote: no... im definatly the biggest thread killer, or that no one ever listens to me, but I get that in real life too
RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Bella - 04-24-2008 03:29 AM I think threads just die of their own accord sometimes... most have a limited lifespan... and somebody's comment has to be last...

RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - ichtms - 04-28-2008 05:50 PM This thread is dead and it has been so for a long time. It's so far gone that even the extremely dead parrot in the Pet Shop Sketch by Monty Python would seem like a very lucid bird. This thread is, on the other hand, so dead that it beats said parrot by a mile; a British Mile, in terms of deathness. Do You Get That? RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - Ivar T - 04-28-2008 06:39 PM Guess it's because of all the thread killers. RE: Are you a Thread Killer? - jewelie - 12-27-2008 07:30 PM I do think it's hilarious that at first every person thought that they alone were the thread killer, which is just totally Aspie and endearing. Yes, I too have killed my share of threads, and have occasionally gotten paranoid about it. Then again there are those infamous threads that you HOPE will die that just keep going on and on.
