Silky, I think you are looking at this the wrong way!
You don't kill threads - you give the definitive last word on them, so that no-one else feels it necessary to add to what you have posted!

I get the replies to my thread via mail, but I don't get notified if I've killed a thread, so I usually don't notice if I've killed a thread.
I notice however if my threads doesn't get a reply.

I think I've killed a few here and there.
However, what I think is worse is being (seemingly) ignored.
Theres been a couple of times where I've wrote something, no response. Then someone else comes along and says the same exact thing, only with slightly different words, and gets lots of responses. (in the same thread, btw)
That's kind of irksome. Well, confusing, really.
I really haven't been keeping up over on this forum as much as I used to. I do have an RSS feed for new threads, though. So I suppose I keep up a little bit

Yeah, I get that too. With me, I assume it's because I'm not as "nice" as the other person. We might be a bunch of Aspies, but still, if you're blunt and honest everyone thinks you're a big icky mean nasty smelly bully, whereas if you can say the most horrible things with a bit of sugar on top you'll be thought of as soooooo lovely.

This thread is dead and it has been so for a long time. It's so far gone that even the extremely dead parrot in the Pet Shop Sketch by Monty Python would seem like a very lucid bird. I do think it's hilarious that at first every person thought that they alone were the thread killer, which is just totally Aspie and endearing. Yes, I too have killed my share of threads, and have occasionally gotten paranoid about it. Then again there are those infamous threads that you HOPE will die that just keep going on and on.
