I have a diagnosis off autism form one psychiatrist, one of Bipolar disorder from another, manic depressive from another. All three off them refute the diagnosis of the other, saying they are the one who are right. Damn stubburn doctor. I do agree i display a lot of those disease symptom. Especially the manic-depressive one.
Reading on Aspie an taking the AQ test i came to the conclusion that this is the condition that's closer to me. I intendt to look for another doctor, one who would be aware of aspie, to confirm my own diagnosis.
A bit about me. I come from a rough familly. I was rejected by them at an early age because of my behavior. My parent were in a sect, wich do not believe in consulting with psychiatrist. In fact they condemn them calling them Satan work force. I had learn to adapt, and try to fit in at an early age. The sect provide a lot of course about how to deal with other, talk in public ect, ect. That help me a lot for public relation, but not with personal interaction. Most of my friend and co-worker find me rude and obnoxious. It confuse them a lot that i seem to dont care for most people around me. Because i'm a youth consellor. I work with runaway teens. I over came my lack of sympathy related skill (i was unable to read people face) with lot of work and year of studying human behavior in therapeutic environment such as A.A., N.A.
Also if you read this and find many orthographic error, problem with sentence structure it's primarly because i'm french canadian. But it's even worst in french :P |
