Bio:	Only one member of my immediate family has been officially diagnosed. The oldest son. We chose to allow an official dx becasue he needed accommodations for school. (He needed to be treated as an individual. ) In past generations it was not necessary to label and classify those that did not need help while at school. I think that autism is genetic and our oldest son just has more characteristics than the rest of the family.
