Terms and Conditions for AFF website and forums

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions ("Terms") governing your use of this website. By making use of this site or attached services in any manner you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree then you must cease and desist from using the site and/or attached services in any manner.

Content of posts
You may not make posts which contain personal attacks, copyright violations, abusive, vulgar or obscene material and any other content deemed to be unsuitable and/or illegal by the site owners and their authorised agents.

Views expressed are those of individual posters The views expressed by individuals are the views of those individuals and may not be claimed as any official representation of the views of the group Aspies for Freedom, it's owners and co-founders or any other individual other than the individual who posted such views.

Consent to storage of personal data
By using this site and/or attached services you agree to the storage of personal data including but not limited to the entire contents of all posts submitted to the forum, any and all edits to the attached wiki, any and all PMs sent via the forum, and and all messages relayed via the IRC network "Chatautism", the entire contents of any profile on the aspiefriends service which may be optionally created and your IP address, HTTP user agent and referrer and any other details relayed to us as a result of your use of this site and attached services. You also grant us a license to redistribute any copyrighted work of your own creation you submit to the site and attached services and disclaim any rights you may have to limit such redistribution.

Deletion of forum posts and personal data
In cases of accidental posting of personal or sensitive data and other conditions the moderators, owners and other authorised individuals may at their own discretion remove or edit posts. You agree that you have no right to demand such deleting or editing and that nobody is under any obligation to do so. You also accept that nobody is under any obligation to ban you and/or remove your account details.

Disclaimer of liability
Under no circumstances shall the owners, administrators, co-founders, moderators, users and other involved parties be held liable for any consequences that may arise out of your use of this site and attached services. Furthermore, should your use of this site and attached services cause any liability for the owners of this site and/or risk termination of our contract with our internet hosting providers you shall be liable to us for any and all damages related to legal costs, downtime and any other costs incurred as a result of your actions in addition to a charge to cover costs of sub-poenas submitted to your ISP and local authorities and other costs incurred in locating details required to file court proceedings against you.

Consent to software usage
You agree that aspects of this site and attached services may involve features that cause your computer to run arbitary software including but not limited to JavaScript and similar embedded HTML scripting languages, Java applets, IRC clients and any other software reasonablly associated with the services provided. Your further agree that use of these services may trigger your computer to send out traffic to and receive traffic the internet including but not limited to standard web/HTTP traffic with or without encryption, IRC traffic, ident connections, portscans, open proxy probes and similar forms of internet TCP/IP traffic. You further agree to the storage of cookies, emails, web browser cache and temporary files which may result from your use of the site and attached services.

Unauthorised usage
Under no circumstances shall you make use of the service in a manner that has not been authorised or for the purposes of fraud, unsolicted advertisements (commonly referred to as spam), harrassment, personal attacks or any other purposes which may be seen as abusive and/or illegal. Should you break any of the terms in this agreement, you consent to us using all available data to assist in tracking down required details and filing a lawsuit against you in a court of the United Kingdom or your country of residence/citizenship.

Exclusion and banning
Once you are notified by an automated message (including but not limited to web page errors, IRC messages and other automated messages) or via personal contact (including but not limited to direct communication over IRC, MSN Messenger, Forum PM, Email, phone call, printed letters, faxes and verbal contact) that you are no longer welcome to use any or all of the facilities provided by this site and/or attached services you must refrain from doing so. Failure to refrain from doing as requested shall cause you legal liability as per the above statement on unauthorised usage for violating the rules of this agreement. Excluding and/or banning may be for any reason whatsoever and nobody shall have any liability to you legally whatsoever following a ban.

Intellectual property and copyright
No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without written permission from site owners. This prohibition also includes framing any content from this site on another site, as well as unauthorized linking.

Any modification or use of the materials from this site for any purpose not explicitly permitted is a violation of copyright and other proprietary rights. Use of material from this site without site owner's prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

There may be third party sites which link to this site. The site owners do not endorse any such site or the goods or services offered on such site. Offline actions and activism campaigns
Anyone who takes part in a campaign or protest encouraged by us must do so in accordance with the published guidelines produced by the co-founders and owners of the group Aspies for Freedom and its website. Furthermore, unless otherwise stated, nobody shall be given license to claim themselves as a member of AFF or "Aspies for Freedom" or use the name of AFF or "Aspies for Freedom" unless they stick perfectly to the published guidelines and have not had their license to use our name revoked. Licenses are not granted for such purposes automatically, though they may be granted upon the announcement of any campaigns via public announcement or word of mouth. Such license may be revoked without reason at any time and misrepresentation of yourself possessing such license may give rise to legal liability for yourself. Minor offences to this policy may be tolerated but malacious and/or excessive misrepresentation will not be.

Ownership Rights
The name Aspies for freedom is owned by the site owners, and the AFF logo is copyrighted to the group 'Aspies for freedom'.

All writings on this site Aspies for Freedom, are owned by the individual writers who contribute, including forum posts, and are subject to international copyright laws.

Each person who posts retains copyright on all that they write here, and this cannot be used without their permission out of this setting. However, site owners are not liable to remove posts at the posters request, unless it is deemed reasonable to do so. Making a post is giving permission for it to be shown on the site.

Agreement to Terms
Your use of this site constitutes your agreement to be bound by and to act in accordance with these Terms of Use.
